Company Overview:

Dialectic, a Swiss-based crypto-native organization of builders and capital advisors, is seeking a highly skilled Swiss lawyer with experience in compliance, contractual, and corporate matters to join our legal team. Based in Zug, Switzerland, this role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, rapidly expanding team at the forefront of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the Company and the Chief Legal Officer in managing legal affairs, particularly in the areas of compliance, regulatory, contracts, and corporate law. Responsibilities also include assisting with the application and acquisition of an asset management license with FINMA and supervising, leading, managing, and optimizing all compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to Swiss regulations and industry standards.

Furthermore, the candidate should have a good understanding of the crypto space and regulatory frameworks, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to work autonomously, and a willingness to take responsibility for achieving the desired results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in compliance, contractual, and corporate matters.
  • Assist in the application and obtaining of an asset management license with FINMA.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and a variety of legal documents.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of a regulatory and compliance program within the organization.
  • Supervise, lead, manage, and optimize all compliance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to Swiss regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant Swiss laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address legal concerns and provide legal advice.
  • Monitor compliance with investment restrictions (internal and external).
  • Ensure the provision of appropriate training and guidance for employees on compliance-related topics (regulatory).
  • Analyze and proactively report on any potential compliance gaps, and actively collaborate with teams to address them effectively.

Key Requirements:

  • Swiss Law degree (Master of Law) and admission to the Swiss Bar.
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of compliance and corporate law.
  • Good knowledge of the crypto space and regulatory frameworks.
  • Integrity, humility, intellectual curiosity, honesty, and direct communication. We are a team of open-minded intellectuals who employ a dialectical approach to ascertain the truth.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for achieving the desired results while also contributing to the success of projects shared by the wider team.
  • Fluent in German and English.


  • Legal experience in the crypto sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of crypto legislation and ability to stay ahead of regulatory changes impacting the financial and crypto sectors.


The primary work location will be onsite in Zug. The candidate should be located in Switzerland or willing and able to relocate to Switzerland in the near future. We also organize regular company off-site events where we conduct sprints on specific projects, and employees are encouraged to participate.
